We are already in the second half of this insane year. Covid really put a damper on so many plans and goals. I planned to travel a lot more this year and have so many new experiences. A sense of normalcy is still pending but now that we’ve learned to navigate our new everyday, it is really time to reset some goals to work towards.
1. Post consistently on the blog and IG
Consistency is something I definitely tend to struggle with. Sometimes planning ahead can be really tough and it is detrimental to always being ready. Since sticking to schedules is sometimes difficult for me, I have tried to keep one that is very loose and allows me freedom to change. This month I am doing Mattie James challenge where I have to blog every weekday and that has definitely helped to hold me accountable. Accountability is key.
2. Grow Instagram to 3000
I have been blessed to come into this artsy community and find so many great people! I would love to continue to meet new people, grow new friendships, and have my audience grow too. There are so many ideas and stories and experiences I want to share with my followers. Likewise, there is lots I would love to learn from all of you. For these reasons, I would really like to continue my growth.
3. Create things that make me happy
I have created lots of content but not always content that feels authentic. I like artsy, colorful, fanciful storytelling. Bringing light, fun, and a bit of adventure is super enjoyable. So making art that makes me happy keeps me the most authentic and, I believe, shares the best side of me with you.
4. Get healthy
I’ve spoken about my journey to get healthy here and here. I want to really nail my health regimen this year. Between getting my eating down, starting some kind of workout routine (…and I haaaate working out), and getting any vitamins or health supplies necessary.
5. Growing in my relationship with God
Honestly, with all the other things going on in the world, sometimes I don’t put enough work into this part of my life. Walking in purpose and relationship is necessary to me. Therefore, it is really important to put a hard focus on being sure that I remain in relationship with God. It should be the first thing.
Even though we have found ourselves in this new world, setting goals still remains important. What are you working to achieve by the end of 2020?
